It’s lining up almost unbelievably perfectly to be an Oregon surfing weekend.

Lovely weather (Cannon Beach was calling for 60 degrees and sunny on Sunday), big long period swells, calm wind. Oswald West State Park is calling. I’m thinking that if everything holds I’ll scoot outta here Friday morning, drive 4.5 hours, surf, camp, surf, camp, surf, drive 4.5 hours. We’ll see. It’s also supposed to be up near 60 and sunny around here and my new bike is scheduled to show up tomorrow so that wouldn’t be a bad option either.
