This was my work office most of last week (and again this week). Mature forest counts and habitat assessments for one of our preservation sites. Sunny and in the 60s and 70s in the afternoon, definitely still summer-like. The 35 degree mornings though gave a pretty good hint of impending autumn. As do the glowing vine maple leaves spilling lava-like down the mountain slopes.
We had our first somewhat fall-like weather this weekend in Yakima, cloudy with a little rain. Temps were still in the 60s, but we’re supposed to have a couple colder days this week. A few oak leaves browning up at the old house, with lots of acorns plinking off the roof.
Try to keep that sunshine around for a few more days if you can!
Great office, Josh! Quite the job you have. Enjoy it all
Wow, nice color on that hill. Don’t get that in So Cal! (or So Ea Asia)
