Since I last posted about the bathroom renovation project almost two months ago I bet you thought I quietly finished the job and didn’t bother to post anything. Boy are you wrong. This project has taken forever. Granted, I took parts of three weekends off to go hiking, but still, I’m sure I’ve put in at least forty hours on this.

And it’s still not done. But close, really close. The floor is completely tiled and I’m two rows away from finishing the mortaring of the shower walls (you should be able to see some spacers poking out of the walls in a few places in the picture below). Then it’ll just be a matter of grouting the walls, sealing the grout, caulking a few seams, and reinstalling our hardware. We’ve got house guests showing up later this week, so my deadline is looming.
