So, basically all that we’ve learned is that Notre Dame has an atrocious football team this year. I’ll take it though. And a 38-0 drubbing makes next week’s Penn State game a little more compelling. And on a pseudo-related note, I love living on the west coast during college football season. We’ve got games on at 9:00 in the morning! Watching football over breakfast, how great is that? March Madness basketball should be fun too.

I’m in the process of revamping the photos page on this site. A little slow-going, but I do have a start on the last three years of photos up right now. Given how cheap hosted server space is these days, I’m moving all the image files in-house. Organized by year. I know it’s a bit sluggish loading all the thumbnails on each yearly page, but it keeps it simpler on my end and most people have broadband these days anyway. If you happen to bump into any bugs (missing images, weird display issues) send ’em my way.

At first it was really strange watching football at 10am (NFL) but now that Im used to it it frickin rocks. I can watch all 3 games on Sunday and still have time to watch a movie before bed if I want. I love it.

    What was Mary’s reaction?

I think it will be awhile before Notre Dame wins a game. They end the year with some bad teams and maybe Clausen will be able to do more than stand in the pocket and wait to get blasted by then. I don’t foresee them beating anybody until Navy on November 3. Bye-bye Charlie. I wonder if Notre Dame feel stupid for dumping Willingham.

Maybe Notre Dame can hire Lloyd Carr after Michigan (hopefully!) forces him to resign.

I think Mary was pretty much resigned to the ineptitude after that first snap flew over Clausen’s head and certainly resigned by the time both sides had had a possession. She ended up going grocery shopping about half way through the game. I really didn’t watch much of the second half either. Naw, Weis will be around for a while though. Supposedly next year’s ND recruiting class in one of, if not the best in the country. Course people always say Michigan has a top five class and we know how that turns out.
