Dad flew in Thursday night for a long weekend here in Washington. Here we are yesterday enjoying the views at Mount Rainier National Park:
And a little more visibility during a hike in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness today. I’ll post more pictures later this week. Below, pictures of Dragontail Peak, Colchuck Lake, and a mountain goat:
Oh the memories.
Wow, Jim. I thought that first picture of you was taken in Grand Rapids.
Hey, Josh, glad your dad made it out there to see you while you’re still in WA. Any action on the house yet? Are you going with a realtor now? Know anything about Walla Walla, WA? They’re looking for a hospice chaplain. Looks like rolling wheatfields, a few distant mountains, and vineyards. Probably hot? I know I’m a year early to be job hunting, but it’s nice to get a feel for the job market. A few don’t require the MDiv degree, but most want 4 units of CPE (a year of paid chaplaincy internship in addition to the MDiv. We’ll see. By the way, I did finish up my incompletes in time–had to pull a couple all-nighters–but I’ve officially completed my middler year of sem and now I’m really a Senior! Didn’t think I could actually get this far!
Fickle Rainier. At least you got to play in the snow.
Shrouded in mystery.
Yeah Walla Walla would be awfully warm in July and August.
Well it was more shivering in the rain than playing in the snow.
